Outreach

We provide services to the community and the world through participation in local ministries and the distribution of budgeted funds.

Gateway Food Pantry (cosponsored by Gateway Community Outreach, a homeless prevention program) – We distribute food each Thursday evening through the pantry we house in our Fellowship Hall.  As many as forty families come for help as we fill bags of groceries for those who have hit a difficult time their lives.

Shoes for Orphan Souls (through Buckner International) – RPCC’s Christian Women’s Fellowship encourages participation in this event every summer, and through combined efforts with many organizations, over 1.6 million pairs of shoes have been distributed to more than 60 countries to date.

Habitat for Humanity – Each month a team of volunteers from the church work with Habitat for Humanity of Broward County.  Habitat is a Christian ministry dedicated to building affordable housing for the less advantaged.

Week of Compassion / Church World Service - respond with help, hope and hospitality to people who have been uprooted and displaced from their homelands by war, environmental catastrophe, famine and natural disaster.

Youth Ministry - providing scholarships for youth to go to camp, on field trips, and on mission trips, etc.
