Our world of “Hooked on Books” is a wonderful experience each day. Reading is a great activity for all. Our children are enjoying super stories and learning about authors and illustrators. (such a big world for 3 and 4 year olds!) Check out the bulletin boards for unique books written and illustrated by our students.
We have been enjoying a great old fashioned summer at preschool. We’re reading exciting books, creating unique art, nibbling yummy snacks, playing games…and of course, loving each other more each day. We are truly blessed.
During the next few weeks we will be preparing for the beginning of another new school year. The Ghann Family (Ms. Reggie & Crew) have volunteered to do some much needed painting – THANKS! Your help is a real gift. Ms. Ero will be painting Room #1 and we are grateful to her. We would love some help with weeding, playground painting, sealing wooden houses, leveling the playground, and raking mulch. Scrubbing chairs, easels, large toys, and tables are some other areas where we can use some help to get our new school year off to a good start. If you can volunteer some time we would be grateful.
Many classes are full, but there are still some spaces available in classes from 18 months to 3 years old. Please come by for a tour and registration so your child can enjoy our warm, loving preschool and child care center.

Congratulations Graduates!
We are grateful for all of our preteen and teen volunteers. You are a part of our Royal Palm family and it’s wonderful to have you here sharing your gifts. You are the best!
Mark your calendars – No school on Friday, July 3rd. Happy Independence Day! Wow! We’re nearly at the end of another fantastic school year. Next week 53 VPK students will graduate from our preschool and move on to the world of elementary school and the “Big K” (kindergarten). We will miss each and every one of them. It has been a blessing and joy getting to know them. Thank you to all who have helped these little children develop the skills they will need to be successful in their adventures through education, and a special thank you to all of our parents for sharing their children with us. Each day is an adventure. You wouldn’t believe the stories we hear…all good of course!

On Monday, June 8th, our summer school reading adventure “Hooked on Books” begins. Summer session will run from June 8th thru August 14th. There will be 84 children joining us for endless adventures and possibilities as we enjoy the books of Eirc Carle, Audrey Wood, Leo Lionni, Margaret Wise Brown, Robert Munsch, and many other wonderful authors.
We still have some availability for Fall VPK and preschool classes beginning August 24, 2009. Call 954-753-2445 or stop by the preschool office for more information.
